Hi Power BI Champs
Sample report: New link (deleted incorrect link)
Need some assistance to make it more dynamic and interactive. I have a "Selection" page that includes three buttons: Monthly, Daily, and Weekly. What I want to achieve is that when a user clicks on one of these buttons on the "Selection" page, it should activate specific visuals on two other pages (Page1 and Page2 - (Can be more pages with similar visuals).
The challenge I'm facing is setting up the right actions, bookmarks, and visibility configurations to ensure that the selected button on the "Selection" page synchronizes with the visualizations on Page1 and Page2, displaying data corresponding to the user's choice (Monthly, Daily, or Weekly).
I'd greatly appreciate any guidance, suggestions, or step-by-step instructions on how to set up this interactivity. If you have experience with similar scenarios or can provide some insight into using bookmarks and actions effectively, I would be extremely grateful.
Thank you in advance for your help,
I think you're approaching this in a way that runs against the grain of how Power BI works. I would recommend looking into using field paramters in visuals (there's a ton of content on YouTube on this) and get the dynamic aspect that way. You can also use measures in things like text boxes that accept page-level filtering for a kind of neat dynamic effect.
@AmiraBedh Thanks for pointing out, I have replaced incorrect link with correct link. Sorry for the confusion..!
Which page is the selection page ?
