Search text within drop down filter

Hi All , We have a slicer for a report on country/cities . We want to be able to give user the option to enter few letters of the city/country filter so they can quickly locate it rather than scrollin...

    Hi Adiuser,

     

    Yes, you can do this within the Slicer visual.

     

    If you click the elipsis (three dots) in the top-right corner, you'll get a menu to search and you can do exactly what you're asking.

    Hi 

    can this be done for numeric value filters as

    123456

    645355

    543423

    989877

     

    I tried applying the same method and it does not show up.

      For any future reference since it's not reported here.

      The search option only works if the column is formatted as text.
