Hi All,
I have created the report of employees data which includes managers and subordinates .To implement the seacrh functionality I used smart-filter to filter the data ,but as a result i am able to filter the data but it is not behaving as search .
it is showing the hierarchy in report with single value .
Is there any approach to implement searh functionality in Heirarchy report in Power BI.
Please help !!
Thanks In Advance
Your requirement is not quite clear. Have you ever checked my reply in your last post? Does it work? If not, can you show what exactly you're after?
Hi Eric,
I have a heirarchy report which shows the organizational structure.I have used smart-filter in the report , it is not working as search feature.
Is there any way to search by the employee name in the report(to implement search functionality in heirarchy report)?
@Eric_Zhang : I have checked your last post , i havent tried that as i need to complete the search functionality first.
Thanks in advance

How do you define the search? I don't quite get it.
HI ,
I have a report which is heirarchy of an organization, now i want to see particular manger related information.
To achieve this i went to the implementation of search based on Manager Name.
So, by Managers name i need to find the number of employees under him.
Is there any way to do this (heirarchy report) ??
Thanks in advance
