Hi
Does anyone know if the option to add a search field in Power BI Slicers got removed? I can't find it anymore...
The picture below is from an old report, and the search option I can't find anymore

Hi @Anonymous
You need to click on the ellipses on the slicer, the you will see this option to enable the search functionality.

Not sure what your requirements are. But there is no way to add the search functionality to a numerical field. Not sure why you won't be able to search for a numerical value. I think it could be a good idea to add that as a feature idea.
A workaround would be to have the field as text and add an index field that you can sort the column by and use the text column in your slicer.
Hope this can help you.

I didn't have that option a min ago, ended up changing the data format from "Whole number" to "Text" and can search for values now - do you know if there's an option to add search in slicers containing "Whole Number" format?
Thanks!
