Scrims

Thanks for writing.  I’m a moderately experienced Power BI user, and have been at it since 2016 or so. I had never heard of scrims before I bumped into an article via Google, and it seems like a weird set up, buying them from MS at $10 per, with a very limited variety of offerings, given the ubiquity of most graphical objects like GIF’s and such.  So I Googled a bit and was unable to find any mention other than the MS intro and instructional pieces – no discussion, no one on blogs, no aftermarket or scrim libraries…   hence my question about whether this is some one-and-done dead end that I just missed along the way, or if scrims are a (new?) and integral part of the Power BI tapestry.  Thanks a lot for any insights.
