Hallo liebes Microsoft-Team,

Hi @geisph ,
@grazitti_sapna , Thanks for your prompt response.
Based on the current Product design, the behavior you are experiencing in Power BI Scorecards loss of context when collapsing the hierarchy panel and loss of hierarchical view during search is a known product limitation.
To ensure this requirement is formally tracked and considered for future enhancements, I’d encourage you to submit your detailed feedback and ideas via Microsoft's official feedback channels, such as the Microsoft Fabric Ideas.
Feedback submitted here is often reviewed by the product teams and can lead to meaningful improvement. since clearer guidance would definitely help capacity administrators interpret these metrics more confidently. This helps the product group prioritize improvements, and the more customers that raise this, the faster it gets addressed.\
Thanks,
prashanth

Hi @geisph ,
1. Page list / hierarchy panel collapsing resets context
Current behavior (by design):
In Power BI Scorecards, when you collapse the left-side hierarchy / page list, the view refreshes and scrolls back to the top of the scorecard.
At the moment, there is no supported URL parameter or setting to:
Open a scorecard with the page list hidden
Preserve scroll position or context when collapsing the panel
Best practices / workarounds:
Keep the hierarchy panel expanded while working with deep goal structures.
Use shorter scorecard sections (split large scorecards into multiple scorecards) to reduce excessive scrolling.
Use consistent naming and numbering (e.g., 1.0, 1.1, 1.1.1) so users can quickly relocate their position after a reset.
Current behavior (by design):
When you search for a goal (e.g., “Action A”), Power BI:
Shows only matching goals
Removes the hierarchical tree view
As a result, parent goals, siblings, and child goals are not visible or expandable in search mode.
Limitations:
There is no option today to:
Display the searched goal within its hierarchy
Automatically expand parent/child goals after search

Is there any possibility that this feature will come with a new PowerBi Version - i think this is a crucial basic for the usability of Scorecards.
