School tutorial not the same setup as my Power BI application
I'm watching a tutorial video from my school on how to use POWER BI. I've downloaded an example file they've provided so that it should have all the revelant data already inserted. But as I'm following the steps, the Power BI in their video does not look the same as mine and so I can't properly follow the steps.
The image on the right (with the red circles) is from the school tutorial and has the steps that I am suppose to follow. The image on the right is what my Power BI looks like. The paint roller icon isn't even there and the dropdown options aren't the same. I've followed all previous steps exactly, so I'm not sure why my version doesn't look like theirs.
the version in the vedio maybe is not the same as what you are using. Do not stictly follow the vedio and you can learn from other sources.

Hi JessicaM03
Application Version is of different one which you are using from the tutorial video.
Power BI core team will be releasing monthly updates for the application.
You can check all the features that are available and you can get acquainted with the available features
