I integrated Jamf with BI. The desktop app refreshes when prompted and works great. When I pull up BI online, it will not refresh the dataset manually or scheduled. Here is the exact error: Data source errorThe 'computerDetails.latitude' column does not exist in the rowset. Table: Computers.
The table is not missing. Any thoughts on what to do to fix? I checked with Jamf support and everything on my end and was able to determine the solution to this error is going to come from the B.I. side of things.
Hi @Anonymous,
it seems as if you get different data in the local query than in the online query.
What Power BI connector are you using?
I am using the Jamf Pro Connector
Hi @Anonymous ,
Okay, I don't know the connector.
Do you use the same credentials?
Yes. You configure your credentials. The weird part as mentioned in my question is the refresh and data seem to work great on the desktop app and not online with refreshing. I can publish the updates, but that is annoying lol. I saw other versions of this question out there and the answer was that an update fixed it. I am assuming automatic updates are keeping me up to date, but how can I verify?
Hi @Anonymous ,
here you can check your version.
It is as up to date as can be.
@Anonymous could you solve it yet.
If not, I would suggest a couple of things to do in desktop.
Please open power query editor and refresh the table, the problematic one, and close. If ask for changes, accept or if show errors then handle them
Then in report view, right click on the table and refresh data. Again see if any errors are thrown. Finally publish the report. I don't know, but some time such weird things may happen.
