Scatterchart bubbles cut off work arounds?

Hello,

For the scatter plot, sometimes the bubble is cut along the y axis. Is there a way to have the full bubble in the data visualization WITHOUT setting the y-axis to a predetermined value? I want to keep to y-axis automatic to change with the filters if needed.

Hello,

I've worked around it defining 2 dynamic measures that sets the maximim and the minimum for Y axis. Let's say that you are plotting <measureA> in y axis. Then you define the following 2 measures:

- MeasureAmax = MAX (<measureA>)*1.2

- MeasureAmin = MIN(<measureA>)*0.8

Then, you put these measures in tha max and min options for the chart (where it says fx). This will dynamically change y axis range to your selected dataset.

You can do the same with X axis if needed.

But it doesn't make any sense to need to define 4 measures for axis scaling because the developpers didn't think about the size of the bubble when defining the auto scale option, it's a bug.

I'm still running this issue. But you can't apply min or max on a measure, only a column. Any solution for when measures are plotted and bubbles are getting cut off.

Yes, need the "Auto" option to include a checkbox for "show entire bubble at extents".

@Lanabanana great question, and dont think there is any solution for this except you manually change the scale. May be you want to add an idea on ideas forum or vote existing idea (if exists)
