Hi experts, maybe you can give me some tips to work this out. We are using a scatter plot to analysis over 1000 cases sometimes, at the moment I am picking up the recommended cases landed on the parento front on the plot manually, once we pick up the points, we need to transfer the selected cases to a new data table.
Here are few ideas I hope to achieve:
- Any dax function we could work out the parento front? or any other ways extract the manually selected case
- can add notation on the plot?
- I can get a data table on the report page to summerise all selected cases, can I modify this table to add new index/case number? I could manually export the table and add to this report again, I am wondering if there is any way to automate this process within powerquery ?
Great thanks for any tips to optimize this process:)
You will have a hard time doing this in Power BI . Maybe by using Include/Exclude and then exporting the remaining data. You can also experiment with changing the default behavior from cross-highlighting to cross-filtering. It may still not give you the required flexibility.
Thank you, currently we are trying to replace all reports using PowerBI, and hope PowerBI can improve on the flexibility in the future:)
I have one question still, if I manage to keep the graphics with a bookmark and use Include to get a separate table for data on a different page. It works in PowerBI desktop, when I click the page and active bookmark. however if I come back to the same page, by default, it would not show the bookmark. I have to keep this bookmark while printing out the whole report as PDF. Is there any way to show a page as the bookmark when one opens this with powerBI desktop without the extra step to click show the bookmark?
use default published filters for that, not bookmarks.
