Hi all,
I have a scatter plot where each marker represents the year-value of a region. I am having the issue that when I filter my data using a year-slicer that the markers in the visual change colour and do not match the legend colours.
After some investigating I noticed that the series of my markers are being duplicated when I filter the data using a year slicer:
The 'Markers' menu in the 'Format visual' pane shows multiple duplicated series, and also the legend now has a scroll arrow, showing each legend option multiple times. My guess is that due to this duplication, the series are attributed different colours that are not matching with the original colour.
Does anyone know how or why PowerBI does this duplication? Or is anyone facing similar issues?
Thanks and kind regards,
- SvenW
Hi @SvenW ,
Yes. As you describe, without modifying the settings in format visual. The colors used for the created scatter chart are the default colors and also do not change due to slicer changes. If the settings in market are customized, then the situation is different.
