Scatter graph
Hi all,
I have a scatter graph showing the number of items per month going through governance. This works fine.
What I am trying to do is add an additional line which is the total, like a waterfall graph.
So items per month are between 1 and 5, but the total is 19, going down to 0 once everything has been through governance. Is this possible or do I need a different graph type?
If you use a Line and Stacked column Chart with a measure like this:
The DAX removes any items that happen on or before this month i.e keep future items only:
Total remaining =CALCULATE([Your Measure] --Measure to change filters,ALLSELECTED(TableToUnfilter) --Remove all filters on table w/ date,Table[DateColumn] > MAX(Table[DateColumn]) --All sales after current, Year(Table[DateColumn]) = YEAR(Max(Table[DateColumn]])--Same year))+0 --Add 0 to keep line continuous, set line to stepped or smoothWe have a free video series on DAX that might help!

Hi Danielwood ,
Do you have a screenshot of what you want it to look like?
At I guess you want to add a Constant Line under the analytics option in Visualizations tab. This lets you reference a measure, on these you can remove the month filter:
The measure would look something like this:
Let me know if this was what you had in mind.
