Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum, but I have not found a solution to this question:
I know the following:
- Power BI scatter charts do not support date as data type on the x-Axis
- Alternative Scatter charts (dot plot by MAQ Software etc.) do not support multiple values on y axis without summarizing them or taking the amount (which is not what I need, see screenshot)
- I can plot my data with numerical date (screenshot) but I need a human readable date on x axis
- I am working on my office computer, so I cannot implement uncertified visuals
Does anyone know a workaround for this problem?
Thank you guys in advance!
have you tried using a line chart with transparent lines and opaque markers?
Unfortunately that does not allow me to use the data points without summarizing them or taking the amount.
Hi,
Did you ever find a solution. I have the exact same issue.
Add a small random value to your x axis column values.
Hi,
Let me piggy bag on this. I have the exact same issue as above.
How would adding a short random value to my x-axis solve this issue?
The idea here is to prevent grouping/aggregation while preserving the value's amplitude.
