Scatter Chart Axis Orientation

I have one chart showing horizontal x axis and the other showing verticle x axis. What? Don't see a way to correct this.

Both "index" X axis are set to

  • data
    • whole number
    • not summarized.
  • Format
    • Catagorical
    • no padding
    • everything is the exact same for both charts.

More detail added from below comments:

to produce the issue I made the X axis Type as Catagorical.

Hi @AnalystPower ,

I still could not reproduce your problem until now...It may be related to the environment, account number and many other factors.

If you still cannot solve the issue, sorry for that, we do not found an effective solution.
We suggest you go to https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/ ,scroll down and click "CREATE SUPPORT TICKET" for further help if you are a pro user.

Hi @AnalystPower ,

I could not reproduce your issue even if I resize the chart:

Did you try to copy the common one and paste it to create a new one? Will this problem still exist?

In addition, please check you Power BI version.( It's always suggested to upgrade to the latest version)

can you click "Revert to default"  for the right chart X axis section?

Reverted

But as soon as I switched the Type to Categorical then it again flipped to display X axis horizontally.
