    Hi GinaAnn ,

     

    Hope everything is going well.

     

    In Power Query, the ABC on the title you mentioned means that the data type is "Text".

     

    After exiting Power Query, in the Data view, if you want to view the data type, you can click the column >> select the Column tools tab >> Data Type, and you will see that the data type is Text.

     

    In short, "ABC" will be displayed directly in the "Text" format in Power Query, but not after exiting Power Query.

I already did that. I have attached screenshots of how it should look and how it looks after I close and reopen the file.

Hi,

On the Home tab, click on the Transform data button to get to the Query view.  You will see the data type in the header here.
