Saved Desktop Reports Completely Blank

Hello everyone!

 

My team has been experiencing this for the last 2 months, roughly. 

When we open reports on Desktop, at random times they'll be completely blank. 

No visuals, sometimes measures are missing, and even complete datasets and tables are gone. 

 

Has anyone else experienced this or know of a fix? It's becoming a fairly serious problem.

    Hi Anonymous ，

    Could you provide me with your version of Power Bi desktop? Also have you tested if the same Pbix file opens on another PC and the same thing happens?

    could pls provide your pbix file ?I will also try it in desktop running on my computer. Remember to remove the confidential information.

    Hi all,

    yesterday I had the same issue: after 6 hours of work a PBIX is completely gone, the PBIX file is 33KB(!) only although there was two excel file loaded, an oracle table in IMPORT mode and another oracle table in DIRECT mode. Three pages of visuals completely in error and all the queries are disappeared. Data model visualization gives an empty page.

    Before of this issue I received a message "Power BI has an error and must be restarted" , I saved the PBIX (a mistake?) and from there ....PUFF !! everything is disappeared. Any thoughts? Any way to recover something?
