I am designing a dashboard where I am allowing a small team to change a threshold value and see the results on the report.
The issue is that the dropdown selection resets to the default selection with which the report was published on. I would want to take one users selection and make that the default for next time. I know user selection is tied to "a" user and doesn't affect other users but in this case, I'd like it to affect other users.
Or is there another method that I should use where a user's selection gets saved and is then used in the dax formula?
I'd appreciate your help on this.
Hello @rishtinz ,
If a user set some slicers to a certain records in Power BI desktop and then published it to service, other people viewing this report will get to see this filtered value as it's published.

gotcha, however, I'm trying to avoid this re-publishing part. Question is, how could I do this without having to publish it again each time?
Hello @rishtinz ,
It should be republished to it appears for everyone, else if one selected a filter in his browser, then it will only show for him.
You could try to edit the report in service and set the filters then save, this is an idea but never tried it.
try it .
