Save data in external file

Hi All,

 

I'm newer in PBI. Sorry if I ask incongruents things.


I need your help to do a graph with daily pending amount Backlog.

 

The data that I have are an Excel with lines of orders, their status( open/../../../Closed) with the date of their different status

and amount of every order (there are more date that have no importance for my question, I thing).

 

I would like to know how can I SAVE in an external file pending amount by date (at the end of day), to see it in a graph.

The data change every day, various times every day.

 

Is for that I need to save this information.

 

Is it possible to do it? If yes, How can I do it specifying an hour?

    I'm not clear about your problem.

    Do you mean you have another table in another excel file which has date and amount columns?

    Do you want the amount in this table to compare with amount in the first table?
