Hello,
I'd like to know if it's possible to save data as it was at one point in time, before hitting the "Refresh" button.
Let's say I have a dashboard with some charts which take it's data from a Salesforce object and that this dashboard is refreshed everyday. Is it possible to see how this dashboard was a day ago, a week ago etc, before the last refresh ?
Thanks
Hi @acheve Power BI is not meant to be a database. Don't know how your model is set up but if it pulls data for the last year or some months, your model can store some data. Even though, at some point your report won't be able to manage all data if it has a big volume. I would suggest you to use a proper database like BigQuery, AzureSQL or MySql to export your data and from there you can connect it to Power BI to feed your report. There you can have historical data and not be afraid of Power BI not being able to handle it. I personally have used a tool like windsor.ai to export all my data from different sources (including Salesforce) into BigQuery and from there I move it to Power BI.
Hello
It is not supported currently for your requirement, someone has posted the similar idea, you can vote it here.
