Working with Sand dance , based on start and end date of an event we are exploding the data to 12 weeks (12 records for an event if it spans for all 12 weeks from today).
Example
E1 Week1
E1 Week2
E1 Week3
E1 Week4
E2 Week1
E2 Week2
When i used Sand Dance with above data x axis was Week , it gave me Event Tower in week1 and week2 which was perfect. Once i change Week1 to Week 01 and Week2 to Week 02 . The x-axis now shows Jan , Feb etc instead of week 01 and week 02
Not sure if this is a bug in Sand Dance or its doing some smart algorithms and thinking its date
@mmoizk I am able to reproduce your issue. Fact that when viewing in power bi Data view Week 01 and Week 02 column has data type of Text and in SandDance it is converted to date time. If you click on settings icon in toolbar, go to Hover, Other and check Show tooltips then you will see Week 01is classified as date time.
It looks like a bug. I would use Contact Author option from where you downloaded SandDance and report this.
Yes that's correct but i figured a work around if you put no spaces between Week and Digit then it think it as a Text.
First I had it like Week1 then did Week 01 which broked it and now i have it Week01 which made it text plus fixed the order as well.
