I have a period slicer that filters the date table to periods that we typically look at (LY, T12,LM, etc). I want to be able to use that period slicer but also be able to show Same Period Last Year. For the life of me I cant figure out how to make Sameperiodlast year work with the pre defined sets of dates (LY, LM, T12). So if I choose LY TotalIncome wouls show 2023 but TotalIncomeSPLY would show 2022 values

To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :radacad sqlbi My Video Series Appreciate your Kudos.
