Salesforce connector issue
Hi GijsP ,
Can I ask if you are using Salesforce Objcets or Salesforce Reports?
You can try the following actions:
- Deleting the cached credentials: File > Option and Settings (bottom left corner)> Data Source Settings > Clear Permission
- Global Cache - File -> Options and settings -> Data Load -> Clear Cache
- Clear out the browser cookies from Edge
- Remove saved credentials via Windows Credential Manager - Control Panel > Credential Manager > "Windows Credentials" > Look for any entries related to Power BI Desktop or the Salesforce connector under "Generic Credentials" and delete them.
If this option is checked below, the above step3 needs to be performed on the default browser.
Is your Power BI Desktop the latest version, if not, you can update to the latest version.
Download Power BI Desktop from Official Microsoft Download Center

Hi Liu,
Thank you. I am using Salesforce Reports, but I run into the same thing when trying to connect to Salesforce Objects.
I followed the steps you suggested, but sadly that didn't make a difference. I am only not able to update to the latest version due to organisational limitations, but we are still running the same version as when it was stil functioning properly.
Kind regards,
Gijs
