Salesforce Connector
In Power BI Desktop, when trying to authenticate to Salesforce and retrieve Objects or Reports, I receive this error:
"We don't support this browser. Try opening this page in a supported browser"
I use the latest version of Power BI and have full access to Salesforce.com in my browser.

Hi NRSolutions ,
You could try the following workarounds:
1. Change your default web browser as the following browsers:
- Microsoft Edge
- Internet Explorer 11. Some advanced features, such as lineage view, aren't supported in Internet Explorer. See Data lineage (Preview) for details.
- Chrome desktop latest version
- Safari Mac latest version
- Firefox desktop latest version. Firefox may change the fonts used in Power BI
2. Force IE to use a different "userAgent" string and try sign-in using PBI Desktop again: https://winaero.com/blog/change-the-user-agent-in-internet-explorer-11/

Skyvia can easily load Salesforce data to a database or a cloud data warehouse, and then connect Power BI. Read here

Hi NRSolutions As a workaround, maybe you can try to test your connection with a 3rd party connector. I've tried windsor.ai, supermetrics and funnel.io. I stayed with windsor because it is much cheaper so just to let you know other options. In case you wonder, to make the connection first search for the Salesforce connector in the data sources list:
After that, just grant access to your Salesforce account using your credentials, then on preview and destination page you will see a preview of your Salesforce fields:
There just select the fields you need. It is also compatible with custom fields and custom objects, so you'll be able to export them through windsor. Finally, just select PBI as your data destination and finally just copy and paste the url on PBI --> Get Data --> Web --> Paste the url.

Hi NRSolutions,
This looks like an OAuth browser issue rather than a Salesforce permissions issue.
Older Power BI Desktop versions used an embedded browser for Salesforce authentication, and Salesforce could reject that flow with “We don't support this browser.” I would first try:
Update Power BI Desktop to the latest version.
Make sure Microsoft Edge WebView2 is installed.
Clear Salesforce permissions in Power BI Desktop and sign in again.
Confirm the Salesforce user has API Enabled permission.
Try both Salesforce Objects and Salesforce Reports to see if the issue is connector-specific.
If the native authentication flow still fails, another option is to test a different Salesforce-to-Power BI path.
Power BI Connector for Salesforce by Metrica Software is available on Salesforce AgentExchange / AppExchange:
https://appexchange.salesforce.com/appxListingDetail?listingId=31526f0e-abd8-4cb5-bd1a-3bd56b5c0577It lets you create Salesforce data sources inside Salesforce, select objects and fields, apply filters, preview the output, and then connect Power BI to that prepared source.
If you also use Salesforce Reports, it avoids the frustrating 2,000-row Salesforce Reports limit. There is a 30-day free trial, plus docs and support here:
