thank you, yes i can do the dax for these however i probably didint explain my problem, and i am not sure I can do what i am trying to acheive.
for example:
Date Sales Achieved FY2017/18 Target Jan-16 100,000 125,000 Feb-16 125,000 156,250 Mar-16 150,000 187,500 Apr-16 125,000 156,250 May-16 130,000 162,500 Jun-16 140,000 175,000 Jul-16 100,000 125,000 Aug-16 125,000 156,250 Sep-16 150,000 187,500 Oct-16 125,000 156,250 Nov-16 130,000 162,500 Dec-16 140,000 175,000 the sales figures for 2016 were as above, and i would like to add 25% onto this figures to form the sales target for the following year ie 2017. I would then like to display these on a line graph with YTD sales and also a Sales Target to show if we are ahead or behiand target and ideally a percentage figure
I can do a calcualted column adding 25% of the 2016 sales figures and its therfore gives me the sales target for 2017, but will obviously will display on the x axis against 2016 and not 2017. I hope this is a better explaination

Hi tmears,
Since you can get the monthly running sales, then, based on my understanding, you need to add this running values into a line chart, together with the FY2017/18 Target value, right? On X-axis, it displays the Date column, right?
I was confused about how you want to compare the YTD sales and Sales Target? Compare the Sales Achieved in year 2016 with the target sales in year 2017? It looks like make no sense.
To elaborate your desired output, would you please draw a picture to show us your expected line graph?
Best regards,
Yuliana Gu
