Sales Data pulled at week level but has 2 months in the same week.

Hello,

We have Sales data pulled at Weekending Level. When there is a week that has sales data for 2 months (for ex Apr ends and May starts in the same week), under which month do we show the Sales data? How are these scenarios usually handled? Please suggest.

Thank You,

Harisha

Ask your accounting department, how do they report the same scenario. Try to be consistent to your business' other reporting guidlines so they align if they get compared. Payroll is another good source especially if you tie compensation.

Sorry if you already know and were looking for a technical solution.

hello i_like_Pi,

Thank you for your response.

One of the solution suggested by my customer is for exploring 445 week calendar. Trying to check if there are other alternatives for the same.

Thank You,

Harisha

Hi @hmokkapati,

In my opinion, you can convert these date to fiscal date then calculate on it.
