Sage 50 Payroll as a PBI data source

I am trying to connect our Sage 50 Payroll to Power BI (specifically the employee records). Does anyone know if/how this is possible?

Not sure whether this is possible with the payroll software?

You could connect to Sage 50 UK as an ODBC Data Source with Power BI Desktop.

•  Install ODBC driver compatible with version of Sage 50 you're on - Install the 64-bit ODBC driver (sage.com) 

• Configure ODBC driver on your machine 

• Connect to data via it
