SSAS live connection grayed out
Hi, I'm using Power BI Desktop October 2017 edition, with SSAS Tabular 2012. In the modelling tab , most of it is greyed out - I'm especially looking to use the data category buttons. In ...
Solved it meself with a bit of judicious forum searching. Apologies for clogging up the forum.
The answer is that all formatting has to be done in SSAS itself.

Or, if you can't be bothered... use the Data Category property in the column properties in SSDT.
