SSAS Tabular in Power BI Web

Hi There,

I am using Power Bi Desktop right now using connection to SSAS Tabular on premesis.

And When I Publish to Power Bi Web I always get Error about Gateway.

Can we use Power BI Web using SSAS Tabular connection?

Thanks

  • Hi henrywinata,

Based on your description, please check if you have configured user name mapping. For Analysis Services data sources, you should configure user name mapping if your Power BI service login names do not match your local directory UPN. To configure user name mapping, please follow steps below:
    1. Go to the gear icon and select Manage Gateways.
    2. Expand the gateway that contains the Analysis Services data source. Or, if you haven't created the Analysis Services data source, you can do that at this point.
    3. Select the data source and then select the Users tab.
    4. Select Map user names.

In Replace blank, input your power bi account name.
In With blank, input your local directory UPN.
