Hi,
Not sure if this belongs here but I hope someone here can help me.
I have a functioning dim_date connected to my fact table which works just fine when I browse the cube ( dim_date.date_key = fact_table.date1 ).
I created another Date dimension like so: dim_date2.date_key = fact_table.date2
Somehow, the new dimension doesn't slice the fact table, and whenever I try to browse some measures from the fact table sliced by the new dim_date I get a blank value.
Any help would be appreciated.
Hi @Anonymous ,
Have you created relationship between the new dimension and the fact table?
Best regards
Icey

@Anonymous , Hope at that time the first date table is not filtering some other duration.
Means if first date filter oct and second one try to dispplay nov , then it will be blank.
Hi @amitchandak
I missclicked the 'Solved' button by a mistake, sorry.
Of course the dates aren't being filtered at the same time.
Even in SSMS, when I browse the cube and drag the new date dimension with a simple count measure - I get a single blank value.
Hello @Anonymous
I moved the post from Power Query to Desktop
