Support for Non aggregatable and formats set in model are coming soon. We are working on these features.

Member properties are used for detailed reporting with the cube. The are related to an attritbute in the dimension, most of the time the Key attribute of the dimension. These member have much less overhead cost for the performance of the cube because no aggregations need to be done on them.
Example, description fields, date fields (which are not related to date dimension), user, etc.. etc.. detailed information.
