SSAS 2019 - the server you are trying to connect to doesn't have any models

Hi ,

 

I am not able to make live connection to SSAS tabular model deployed on SQL Server 2019 (CTP 2.5). It is giving error message "the server you are trying to connect to doesn't have any models". Does SSAS Tabular 2019 (CTP 2.5) support live connection ?

Is above error prompted when connecting to SSAS 2019 (CTP 2.5) under import mode?

Hi @v-yulgu-msft ,

 

This error is not coming while connecting (CTP 2.5 SSAS) under import mode.  In import mode, i am able to connect and download the data. I tried it with a small table.

 

Unfortunately, I cannot use import mode as the table on which Model is built, contains 250 million transactions.
