SQLDUMPER issue after reverting from composite to standard model

Hello!

Tried to create a composite model.

Nothing fancy - PBI dataset from PPU workspace + local data sources (.txt, .xlsx and .csv)
Didn't work for me due to limitations on calculated tables.

Since did a lot of work just removed the connection to the PBI dataset (reverted everything to local sources).

After every operation with a measure or upon creation of any relation i get an sqldumper.exe window. It flashes for a second or two and dissapears. PBI Desktop continues to work normally. Each dump creates a 8+/- mb .mdmp file along with abunch of others

    Hi, Anonymous

You need to go to Power Query to see if there are any problems with the steps. It is not clear if there is an irreversible mix operation (with two data sources). You may need to recreate the report. Please share screenshots of the steps in pq(hide privacy).

    That's not a PQ issue.

I've experimented with other simple models - result is the same - SQL Dumper.

    The experiment -
    Create composite data model

    Remove BI dataset

Get an SQL dumper procedure out of nowhere

Had to rebuild the file and avoid any compsoite mode for now.

      Hi, Anonymous

Have you updated your desktop version to the latest?

If you only use the dq mode to connect to the data source to create a report, will it report an error?
