I am connecting to sql server from power bi.
I see all the tables but would like to create views in my sql server environment and access the database views instead of the actual tables.
can I access sql server database views from power bi, so far I only see the tables?
I did a search and looks someone asked the same question and someone answered 'Yes', but I did not see any instructions on how to access the database views in the response.
Thank you in advance for any assistance

How can we connect POSTGRAYSQL Views and PowerBI??
You can absolutely utilize your SQL views in Power BI. When connecting to a SQL server, expand the "Advanced Options" button and drop in a query to call upon that view.

You can absolutely utilize your SQL views in Power BI.
Try to connect to it by entering your server and database name as you normally would, but then expand the "Advanced Options", and drop in a query to call upon that view
SELECT [Field List]
FROM dbo_viewname
