Hi isly ,
As parry2k mentioned, poewrbi report server is on -premise, it doesn't need gateway, you need to configure credential in datasource settting. You could refer to compare-report-server-service for details.
Did other powerbi report in report server work well? Did you configure datasource for powerbi report in report server? If you re-upload powerbi report in report server, will it work or not?
