SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR does not work whith different categories

Hi!

I try to learn Power BI, but I have one issue for the dashboard I created.

When I want to compare the total sales for all sales channels/categories the correct LY data is shown. When I press the one of the sale categories the LY data is not displaying anything and mess up all the data (Tom)=Empty. What can be wrong?

The sales LY formula I use

Sales LY = CALCULATE([Sales XXX];SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR('Date'[Date] )) 

What can be wrong? Please help:)

Hi! You shared the same screenshot twice! 🙂 and did you use the same DateDim in the visual als in the measure ? Robbe
