SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR FUTURE DATES
Hi,
I'm trying to use same period last year for future dates. I have data for 2019 and 2020 and I want to put that information for 2021 but I have no records for that year.
| Date | Visitors |
| 01/01/2020 | 10000 |
| 02/01/2020 | 15000 |
| 03/01/2020 | 20000 |
And I want
| Date | Last YearVisitors |
| 01/01/2021 | 10000 |
| 02/01/2021 | 15000 |
| 03/01/2021 | 20000 |
The main problem is that I don't have dates for those months. I tried to create a dates table and make the relation, but is still only working for 2020.
siac16 if you have a calendar table and relationship with your visitor table, the following measure will work:
Measure = CALCULATE ( SUM ( Visitors[Visitors] ), SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR ( 'Calendar'[Date] ) )see attached file, there are many tables, just focus on visitors and the calendar table.
