Running count nutcracker.. (Trendline, running count, subtracting with multiple date tables).

Hi all,

I've got another nutcracker that I can't get my head around...

What i'm doing:

- I got a sharepoint list with actions, data is in a import set to pbi desktop

- every action has an entry date

- some actions have a closed date

I have a datetable for both dates (calender auto() expanded with month names etc.

relationships:

table named "Date" is marked as a date table.

I can't for the life of me figure out how to show the number of open actions per month in a trendline.

I've got the total actions in a graph:

how can I subtract the closed actions from this line, so it shows the progress over time?

Many thanks for yout support!

@PaulusD , Your data model is not clear. Can you share sample data and sample output in table format?

Hi @PaulusD

Do you want to see the values in this trend line per month?

You can try to turn on the data lable in this visual.
