Run macro in excel dataset from within Power BI

Hi Everyone,   I currently have an excel file that I can update by running a Macro. Now I might want to get this data in Power BI. Is it possible in Power BI Desktop to run the macro in the source ...

    As far as I know what you describe is not possible. Here you can find a similar thread where the Information comes from comunity-support that xlsm is not (yet) supported.

     

    A option might be to look into MS-Flow to use Power Automate to execute the Macro by using a button in Power BI (Link). But this only works in Power Automate for Desktop, so I am not sure if this is what you are looking for.
