Rows repeating/duplicating in matrix layout

Hello community,

I have been struggling to fix an issue with rows duplicating in my matrix layout. Following is the snapshot of the matrix:

Rows in column qualification are repeating for each entry of "Allocation percentage of other cost centres" column.

The data on this matrix is sourced from 3 tables - Emp, cost centres & Emp_qualification that are left joined.

Any help in resolving this issue is much appreciated.

thanks,

Meena

Hi,

Drag a measure to the value area section of the Matrix visual.

@Ashish_Mathur  thanks for your suggestion. But it doesn't work as it picks up the first qualification only and still repeats for each row.

To add to the info I provided about the matrix, all the columns are actually rows on the matrix.

Hi,

Share the link from where i can download your PBI file.

@Ashish_Mathur thanks for trying. But qualification & major are still duplicating. The highlighted "qualification" & "major" should populate only once, irrespective of the number of "other cost centres"

That is the way it works.  As long as there is a number in the value column, the entries in that column will repeat.

@Ashish_Mathur  here is the link: I created a test PBI as my data has sensitive info.
