Hello,
In the 2 screenshots below, in the left screenshot the "Quarter" row header is showing correctly but in the second screenshot the Quarter has been incorrectly stacked within the Period in a single column. Please could you tell me how to change the second screenshot to match the first screenshot (I don't understand why it has happened).

I create a table as you mentioned.
Then I put it into matrix and get the right picture.
If you want to change to the left picture, you can go to Layout and style presets and choose Outline. Then you can get what you want
