Row Level security on column level
Hi Guys
I do not have that much experience with RLS (Row Level Security), but I was wondering if there is a solution to my issue. I have report that I am sharing with internal as well as external partners.
The way i solved it is that i have the sales data double. Then I have added one column that says Internal and External. So the Internal people will see Store nr and Store name and Address next to the sales data. The External on the other site will only see Store nr with the sales data. I have the RLS set up that way if the person is on the external list "internal/external" column = External or Internal for the Intranal people.
I was wondering if there is a way how to filter the RLS which will allow me to modify which columns this or that gorup can see.
So then the RLS rule would be :
Internal people - They can see columns Store nr, Store Name, Store address and Sales Data
External people - they can see columns Store Nr and Sales Data.
Thak you for your suggestions

Hi Anonymous
You may know it from the document's FQA: 'If a user has access to a particular row of data, they can see all the columns of data for that row.'You may check if this article's workaround could help you.
