Row Level Security where everyone see PAGE 1 & specific users see a PAGE 2

Hi, I would like to create a role in Row Level Security where a specific users can see a "Page2" but everyone else can see "Page1".

Page1: has NO RLS implemented so anyone can see this page (note: I would like everyone to have access to this page because there are >700ppl and it will be hard to manage this list of who has access.)

Page2: HAS RLS implemented only certain users are allow to see it (can manage a small list of ppl)

Thanks
icchung

You can't really prevent users from clicking on a page and navigate to it.

Workaround could be to hide all pages except the first. Then create bookmarks with page navigation and use RLS to hide/show values for specified users.

Additionally you might consider object level security. That way specified users will only see 'broken' visuals.

Hi, @icchung2

Page-level security is not yet supported in Power BI. The idea is still under review.

Page (Tab) level Security.

The solution proposed by Microsoft so far is the same as mentioned by @PVO3.

You might consider combining new conditional page navigation feature with row level security (RLS) to custom create and enforce a page level security, or tab level security specific to the report.

Detailed steps can be found in the tutorials below.
