Hello,
I have 3 measures. 1st is the backlog initial value which is a static value. 2nd is Total revenue and 3rd is total expense
I want to calculate backlog and its formula would be
Backlog = Initial Backlog+Total Revenue-Total Expense
Backlog = 2000+1000-500=2500
I want if next month comes then the backlog I have created aboe will become initial backlog and that month revenue will be added along with that month expense would be subtracted so the formula will become
Backlog = Initial Backlog+Total Revenue-Total Expense
Backlog = 2500+3000-1500=4000
I want that backlog moves next month when next month comes in.
Kindly help me get such formula that roll over back log with that month revenue and expense.
You help would be highly appreciated.
Thank you

Hi,
Share data in a format that can be pasted in an MS Excel file. Show the expected result.
Hello @Ashish_Mathur ,
Kindly check out the files.
The Expense Table look below
| Year | Month | Total Expense |
| 2022 | December | |
| 2023 | January | $7,204,004.12 |
| 2023 | February | $9,375,396.91 |
| 2023 | March | $9,176,187.18 |
| 2023 | April | ($558,065.61) |
The las month backlog can be a static value a singloe row table like below:
The Revenue table is below:
| Year | Month | Total Revenue |
| 2022 | December | 1635 |
| 2023 | January | -573804 |
| 2023 | February | 2553829.12 |
| 2023 | March | 535826.79 |
| 2023 | April | 1726711 |
| 2023 | May | 2371897 |
| 2023 | June | 1303930.2 |
| 2023 | July | 496937 |
| 2023 | August | 3035280.05 |
| 2023 | September | 2141841.5 |
| 2023 | October | 1954834 |
The last month backlog can be static value just to initate the backlog or it can be a single row table like below:
| Year | Month | Initial Backlog |
| 2022 | December | 37729 |
I want Backlog to be in formula like
Backlog = initial backlog+total revenue-total expense
Backlog = 37729+1635-0 = 39364
For January 2023 initial backlog would become 39364 so formula becomes
Backlog = 39364+(-573804)-(7204004)=-7738444
The outcome table will look like below:
| Year | Month | Outcome |
| 2022 | December | 39364 |
| 2023 | January | ($7,738,444.12) |
| 2023 | February | ($14,560,011.91) |
| 2023 | March | ($23,200,372.30) |
| 2023 | April | ($20,915,595.69) |
| 2023 | May | ($18,543,698.69) |
| 2023 | June | ($17,239,768.49) |
| 2023 | July | ($16,742,831.49) |
| 2023 | August | ($13,707,551.44) |
| 2023 | September | ($11,565,709.94) |
| 2023 | October | ($9,610,875.94) |
