Rolling Average Staring from Last Value, Projected Forward?

Hey all,

 

Recently I've been trying to average the last 18 months of my data and then project it forward. In excel, this comes quite easily, but I am struggling to figure out a solution in BI.

It seems as though the starting point for the averaging should be immediately after my actual values, but I'm unsure of how to compensate for this.

Any help offered would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

    Can you add more details re the issue and how do you want to project it foreward?

    Is it possible to add sample of your data to your post?
