Ribbon formatting no longer has any affect?

Very odd but now when I create new measures and use the formatting controls on the ribbon it makes absolutely no different to the display??? As you can see I have formatted as whole number, but the meausre is stil lto 2 DP.  

Also the latest version I can see where you can set the field formatting ofr a specific visual???

This seems completely the wrong behaviour so any idea what the fix is. i updated to the lastest version and just made things worse due to not being able to locate the visual format control anymore!!!

Hi @masplin ,

I can't reproduce your problem, the Power BI Desktop version I'm using is the latest version available ( 2.102.845.0 64-bit (February 2022)). Could you please provide me with some sample data and visual settings, etc., and I will test later on my side to see if I have the same problem. It would be great if you could share a simplified version of the pbix file. Thank you.

@masplin , this surprising, Can open Data model view, In property pane, do the same changes. and save and check

Can you share  a sample pbix after removing sensitive data.

It just seems to be this model as other models the ribbon formatting works fine. Can't imaging there is any way to turn to off!!!  Its an enormous and not worth the effort if its modle specific just seemed really strange kind of corruption

nope doesnt make any differnece If i change in modle view
