Please see image below.

Is it possible to sort the bars in reverse to the Legend?

I know you aren't supposed to resurrect old threads, but it came up through a web search for me so it might for others too. I found the solution here, "reverse order" under layout, under columns, in the visual tab:

Hi @Selwynster,

This order inherits from the order in the original table. Please refer to stacked-column-chart-legend-order. I also cite my answer below.

We can sort the legend column [Change Reason] in the original table. Then the order will be applied in the visual. Please give it a try.

1. Create a proper order column if you don't have one.

2. Change the sort order by "Sort by column".

3. Done. Please refer to the snapshot below.

Thanks @v-jiascu-msft

But this would sort both the Legend and bars accordingly.

I will look into your other options.

Thanks

Hi @Selwynster,

Do you look for the same solution as the author does that I mentioned in my last post? To make the color of both the bars and the legends in the same order. Take your snapshot for an example, the colors of legend from top to bottom is "Green, Black, Red, ...", then the colors of bars from top to bottom should be the same.

If so, I'm afraid it's a limitation for now. Please refer that post for details.

Dale
