Returning All Rows From One Side Table of Relationship

Hello and thanks for giving this a look,

I would love some help on how to create a table visual which would return all rows from the fact table regardless whether a related entry exsist in the look-up table and would duplicate fact table rows for each instance in the look-up. A link to my sample model and the desired result is below. The lines in red are what I'm struggling with as they would not display.

  • Hi YevD ,

According to your description, I download your sample, in the visual Values pane, select Don't summarize when expanding the Amount column. When you choose sum or average etc. it represents a calculated value not the column itself.

    Get the expected result.

I attach the sample below for reference.

  • hi amitchandak ,

Unfortunately I am unable to achieve the desired outcome with either of those suggestions. Really not sure how a matrix would work here. Would you be so kind and show how it can be done in the model I shared?
