Hello PBI Community,
This is my first post, so please bear with me as I'm not 100% familiar with rules and regulations.
I'm working with PBI only 2 weeks now and here's my issue I need to solve:
1 table, 2 columns
Shipment Reference Weight of Cargo
A111 500
A111 500
A111 500
A222 250
A222 250
A222 250
A333 1000
What I want to achieve is that a unique shp ref shows 500 only and not 1500. Ideally the total weight of cargo is 1750 and not 3250.
Probably easy and straight forward, but I can't see it.
Create new table and pick unique values from shp ref?
Looking forward to your solutions!
Thanks & Rgds
Tobias

You can use summarize or groupby function to achieve. below is the example about summarize
Summarized = SUMMARIZE(Table,Table[Shipment Reference],Table[Weight of Cargo])

Many thanks for quick response! My issue is solved.
One more question: Any idea why it wouldn't let me link the new created table (unique Shipment Ref) to the original table (multiple entries of same Shipment Ref)?
I can link these 2 tables in my env. What error did you get?
