In a measure I want to return the max value product from a given time period and geography, and then count those across the entire table. Below is an example table, but each region has a max result across each year in the table. Thank you in advance, having trouble isolating the filters to apply correctly to find the max product.
Prodcut Name | Number | Year | Region |
Product1 | 38244 | 2021 | South-east |
Product2 | 9789 | 2021 | South-east |
Product3 | 6010 | 2021 | South-east |
Product4 | 33753 | 2021 | South-east |
Product5 | 2809 | 2021 | South-east |
Product6 | 6975 | 2021 | South-east |
Product1 | 17115 | 2003 | North-west |
Product2 | 9565 | 2003 | North-west |
Product3 | 17661 | 2003 | North-west |
Product4 | 21384 | 2003 | North-west |
Product5 | 5949 | 2003 | North-west |
Product1 | 15156 | 2016 | Central |
Product2 | 9588 | 2016 | Central |
Product3 | 9345 | 2016 | Central |
Product4 | 15900 | 2016 | Central |
Product5 | 25518 | 2016 | Central |
Product6 | 9409 | 2016 | Central |
For 2021 in the South-east it should return Product1 as the highest number (38244)
For 2003 in the North-west it should return Product4 as the highest number (21384)
For 2016 in Central it should return Product5 as the highest number (25518)
etc.
Result would be something like this:
Year | Product1 | Product2 | Product3 | Product4 | Product5 | Product6 |
2021 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
2016 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 1 | 0 |
2003 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 1 | 0 | 0 |
