So, I have this error... When I try to filter within the Power BI report, I get this message. I must be filtering it at the wrong point. Am I suppsoed to filter this in Dataverse and not within the Power BI report itself? If I do need to use the same data (as it is a yearly report), should I just make a new Dataverse table starting from the beginning of this year and deal with the problem "x" months down the line?
I'm not super familiar with querying from dataverse, just found this article: Use SQL to query data (Microsoft Dataverse) - Power Apps | Microsoft Learn
Which implies Dataflows might be helpful, but I believe you should be able to get query folding to happen from desktop as well. Are you filtering in the Power Query as the first step after source step? Try that first and report back if it helps.
This article may be useful if you're trying to use native query: SpeedTip - EnableFolding option for Dataverse Native SQL Power Queries (linkedin.com)
